What We Do

Mindful Meditation Australia is non-profit organisation focused on enhancing the well-being of students and educators. Our goal is to teach every child across Australia mindfulness and meditation techniques so they can find calm, and self-regulate. Our programs are designed to help students be more confident, capable, and resilient and better able to face challenges, change, and choice.

Our Mindful School Pathway is a series of transformative workshops tailored for educators, delivered during professional development days. These workshops give teachers and staff the opportunity to experience techniques that will bring calm to the classroom. The workshops go deep into the benefits and how to integrate mindfulness and meditation into the class.

Our Mindful Classroom is a complete year-long wellness journey program for years 1-6. Lessons are designed specifically for each year group helping students understand stress, anxiety, big feelings, and how their brains work when they face a challenge. Students learn ways to find calm and feel safe even under pressure and how to help others. Try it out today with 10 free lessons.

Our Mindful Facilitator Training is designed for teachers and staff interested in learning to effectively lead meditation sessions, respond to common questions and navigate difficult situations while teaching. In this training we also help teachers and staff establish a personal meditation practice based their mind-type and lifestyle to make it comfortable to practice and easiest to stick with.

We offer Mindful Incursions where our facilitators visit your school to present a fun, interactive lesson that teaches students techniques they can start using straight away.

All our programs align with the Western Australian and National Curricula, ensuring they fit seamlessly into your teaching.

Our Story

Mindful Meditation Australia is a not for profit organisation established by Australian philanthropist and meditation advocate, Kerry Harmanis.

Kerry is driven by a lifelong commitment to improve the lives of all Australians. He believes that the wellbeing and self-awareness achieved through mindfulness and meditation will lead to a healthier and more cohesive society.

Central to Kerry’s ambition for Australia-wide wellbeing are young people, because of their ability to bring about lasting change. Kerry founded Mindful Meditation Australia in 2017 with the mission to bring the benefits of mindfulness and meditation to all Australians with a strong focus on young people and schools.

Since then Mindful Meditation Australia has become a leading provider of mindfulness training programs in Western Australian schools. We offer training in mindfulness at all levels of education including early learning, primary, secondary, and tertiary education.
